“The two most engaging powers of a photograph are to make new things familiar and familiar things new”

William Makepeace Thackeray.

Alaska

I have made 2 trips to Alaska; "the Last Frontier". Lake Clark National Park has great opportunities to photograph bears fishing in the tidal marsh inlets and salt-water bays as salmon migrate through the estuaries and creeks. Meanwhile, the Katmai peninsula has bears fishing in its waterfalls while inlets on Prince William Sound are home to Sea Otters. This gallery has images of grizzly bears, sea otters, harbour seals, golden eagles and salmon.
